Art has the power to transport us to limitless destinations, a philosophy that David Tyers embraces in his own artistic pursuits. Though he began his career in drafting, David's lifelong appreciation for art and painting led him down a path of invention and creativity. Born in Corby, England, he served in the British Army before moving to Canada and working primarily as a mechanic. In his free time, he crafted countless prototypes and patent drawings, all while nurturing his love for drawing. David finds solace and escape in the creative process, experiencing a deep sense of satisfaction upon completion of each piece. He believes he's on the right track when his art resonates with its audience. Drawing inspiration from his youth, David's motorsport works capture the energy and speed of roaring Grand Prix engines and helicopter blades. His aerial perspectives invite viewers into his works, where they are swept up in the flowing paint strokes. Currently residing in British Columbia with his wife, daughters, and ever-vigilant supervisor, Cassie the Collie, David spends the majority of his time immersed in his craft.
