JESSICA DI PALMA

Emerging onto the professional scene at forty-six, Jessica spent a lifetime observing life from behind the lens.  Raised in a household where cameras and a darkroom became the playground, a passion and drive for photography was born.  Endless European summers by the beach created a love for the ocean and deep connection to nature.  With all of these elements combined, her photography tells an intimate story and captures the soul.  She creates an emotional depth with the viewer and exudes a trust with her subjects.  Life in 35mm is a world where photo is celebrated in its most raw and pure format.  A graduate of Creative Arts and a passion for writing, Jessica also pursued her studies in Languages and Literature.  Artistic expression is a source of life for her.  Her fascination and appreciation for authenticity helps her translate her Art to life.  There is no filtering in nature but simply an honest and unpredictable flow.  When she is not behind the lens, Jessica loves to spend time in California surfing the waves and recharging under the desert sun.
