LYNDA GOLDMAN
Lynda Goldman, a Canadian artist based in Montreal, has a diverse background in fine arts, teaching, writing, and design. Graduating from Concordia University with a degree in Fine Arts, she later pursued teaching and became a published author of 27 books. Despite her successful ventures, Goldman returned to her passion for painting in 2003.
Specializing in abstract and floral works, Goldman's art captures the essence of flowers rather than replicating their images. Her pieces delve into the profound emotions evoked by flowers, such as joy, gratitude, and love. Through her exploration of themes like yearning, unfolding, and the interplay between strength and delicacy, she seeks to convey the mystery and magic inherent in nature.
Goldman's artistic journey has seen recognition, including winning the People’s Choice Award in the 2023 Valentine’s Show. She has exhibited her solo shows at prominent galleries like the Yellow House Gallery and DeSerres Art Gallery, along with a two-person exhibit titled "Life in Colour" at Alpha and Omega Gallery in Ottawa. Currently represented by Arte Cavallo in Montreal, Goldman's goal is to offer viewers moments of respite and joy while fostering appreciation for the natural environment that surrounds us.
