Kick Off MONTREAL GRAND PRIX Week Immersed in Ferrari History

an exclusive, invite-only exhibition celebrating the legendary Scuderia Ferrari through the lens of renowned photographer Flavio Mazzi.

Location: FOIL GALLERY from 6pm to 9pm

This private event invites you to relive nearly five decades of Formula One history — from the golden era of Gilles Villeneuve to the championship reign of Michael Schumacher, all the way up to Mazzi’s most recent work from 2025. Captured by a man who lived it from within, each image tells a story of passion, performance, and the legacy of Ferrari.

All exclusive photographs will be available for purchase during the event, giving collectors and enthusiasts the rare opportunity to own a piece of Ferrari history.

In addition to Flavio’s powerful photography, guests will enjoy an exclusive viewing of INSEGUENDO FERRARI, a documentary by Joey Franco of Zoetropia. The film offers a rare look at Flavio’s life, legacy, and his home in Maranello, Italy — the heart of Ferrari.

A rare, historic Ferrari will be featured alongside other iconic models for this one-night-only experience. Meet the artist in person, along with prominent figures from the automotive world.

To give you a taste of what’s to come, here’s an exclusive Q&A with Flavio Mazzi himself:

Q: How did your journey with Ferrari begin?
A: I started working at Ferrari in 1979, right after graduating. Meeting Enzo Ferrari in person for my job interview was unforgettable. Days later, I was officially part of the team.

Q: Who left the biggest impression on you?
A: Without a doubt, Gilles Villeneuve. I was there for nearly every test he did in Fiorano. He gave fans around the world unmatched emotion — his epic driving brought enormous popularity to both Ferrari and Formula One.

Q: What’s been the most emotional moment of your career?
A: The 2000 Japanese Grand Prix — when Michael Schumacher brought the World Title back to Maranello after 20 years. That moment lives forever.

Q: How has Formula One changed since the beginning?
A: Since Senna’s death in 1994, safety has improved drastically. Today's cars and tracks are much safer. And with social media, fans can now experience the sport as if they were trackside.

Q: What makes this exhibition meaningful?
A: It tells the story of Ferrari's F1 journey from 1979 to today. Each of the 26 Ferrari drivers featured has a story — and fans will be able to relive those emotions through my lens.
