To show up persistently and consistently for your muse, the War of Art inspirational force Margaret Lipsey integrates into her artwork.  This has always been her approach. Exploration and discovery drives her creativity and nurtures her evolution.  A Michigan native, Margaret completed her studies from Howard University before attending culinary school in Vermont.  After a fifteen year successful run as a professional chef it was time to hang up her apron and pick-up the paintbrush.  Becoming an artist was like flipping a switch and embracing art as a part of who she is.  Exploring colors and composition and diving into new methods means her work is constantly changing.  This journey is a very peronal one for her.  A learning process which has nurtrured her persistence and patience.  A painting becomes a story viewed in reverse and art becomes a moment of humanity that the artist reflects.  A true gift.  Margaret believes being an artist is the ultimate freedom which connects us rather than separate us.  Margaret lives in Saint Lambert, Quebec with her husband and two children and plans on presenting her Abstract Fragments Collection in an exhibition.
